The visual language takes its cues from the golden age of the Swedish smörgåsbord in the 1920s and 1930s — a time when Swedish Grace was at its height, and dining tables were dressed with hand-embroidered linens.Each of Kalmar’s areas of strength was brought to life on its own individual plate. Tourism and hospitality, for instance, featured Villa Villekulla and Kalmar Castle, while the energy sector was represented by the Oskarshamn nuclear power plant and solar energy parks.
