Restaurang jord

At jord there’s a unique relationship with nature, meat is hunted from the owners’ land, fish are caught from nearby lakes and the neighbors assists with seasonal fresh primers. Our idea was to transform the irregular patterns of nature into something beautiful to create a truly unique dining experience.

A root-like pattern was created with one single line, manually adjusted to resemble a growing and unpredictable pattern of nature.
The restaurant experience is characterised by a deep passion for wildlife. Our ambition was to create a true scandinavian imagery by capturing the sometimes cold, dark and mysterious environment.
Old-fashioned craftsmanship was mixed with new, unconventional methods in an effort to reflect nature. Signs were etched in brass, cotton paper was foiled with gold and menu covers were created by the local bookbinder.
